Montreal Mavericks Youth Flag Football is the Largest Youth Flag Football organization in Quebec with over 950 athletes from ages 7 to 16 years old.

At Montreal Mavericks Youth Flag Football, we believe in the power of sports to transform lives. Our focus is on developing young athletes not just in terms of their skills on the field, but also as individuals who value teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play. Our coaches are experienced and dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for our players to grow and thrive.

We host over 350 games per year in our spring, summer and winter leagues, hosted on outside turf fields in the spring/summer and indoors with dome turf fields in the winter.

Our flag football specific clinics include Speed Training, QB Training, DB Training, and WR Training. We also offer specific Strength Training Programs for our athletes 10+ years.

 

All of our staff, including our awesome coaching staff is100% volunteers. Our referees are paid professionals and our statisticians/timekeepers/scorekeepers are all paid graduated Mavericks 16+. Any profit generated from our league or clinic programs is used to fund new equipment, jerseys or pays for our competitive travel team registration fees.

We partnered with Flag Plus Football (FPF) which is our backbone for our Flag Football leagues and they manage all the scheduling, organizing, and managing all of our player statistics, rosters, schedules and scorekeeping which is available online.

Our athletes and coaches unite from diverse cities, various tackle football organizations, and different flag teams to form a cohesive force under one banner, representing the city of Montreal on our international Tournament circuit.

 

Our competitive travel teams participate in over 10 tournaments in Canada and the USA, adding more each year. Our competitive teams compete at the highest level and attend NFL Canada tournaments, Harvard Summer Showdown, Ohio Summer Nationals, Pennsylvania Summer Championship, Disney World Flag Football Championships, to name a few.
